Prescriptions must be stamped once medicines dispensed from

Every prescription must be stamped by the pharmacist once medicines have been dispensed from it
Whenever consumers walk into a pharmacy for medicines against their prescriptions , a pharmacist must always stamp the prescription with his medical shop details and date. This way that prescription would not be able to be availed by the consumer again in case he falls victim to the same illness in future.
It is very often seen that patients tend to take the same medicines from a previously prescribed prescription if they face the same health problems. This is a wrong practise . A pharmacist can play an effective role by stamping the prescription with the delivery date and his medical shop name ( refer prescription attached with this article  ) . Once this is done, the consumer cannot purchase medicines from that particular prescription at a later date again . This way he will visit the doctor for his present illness and take the right medication accordingly prescribed .
As pharmacists, it is our moral responsibility to protect and safeguard our consumers' health .
