It was just last week when I got to learn that some pharmacies are still selling NIMESULIDE ( Nise) tablets over the counter. These had been banned for use by our Government few years back but still seem to be openly available in the market. Dietary supplements have also been recalled. Though there are failures everywhere, success can be achieved with broader mind-sets, better reforms and rapid actions both by manufacturers and Government. India should able to cherish its global position in the pharmaceutical market with better quality, safer medicines and proper ethical practices wherever required.
