No Recognition For Electropathy Courses: Min
Jaipur, 5 March 2021:
Medical and Health Minister Raghu Sharma in assembly said in reply that neither any institution is affiliated with the state government nor recognition has been given for conducting electropathy courses in the state under Rajasthan Electropathy Systems of Medicines Act, 2008.
He said electropathy system is not approved by the Centre or any state. The Centre has formed a committee in 2016. There have been five meetings of this committee on the subject, but nothing has been concluded so far, he said.
In reply to a Starred question No. 1760 by MLA Narayan Beniwal (192) during the Question Hour, Sharma said that Rajasthan Electropathy System of Medicine Act, 2018 was passed by the assembly on April 11, 2018. After this a committee was formed under the chairmanship of the director of the ayurveda department vide Order No. F.2(15) Ayu/2005 Part dated 3.6.2020. There have been two meetings of this committee and further decision will be taken based on its report, he said.
Sharma said that the state government does not have any information regarding the conduct of electropathy syllabus before and after the passage of the Act. There are six institutes functioning in the private sector, but none are recognised. The Times Of India
