Experts suggest Ayurveda provides best and effective treatments for autoimmune diseases

Ayurvedic experts from Hyderabad have suggested that Ayurveda and various other Indian systems of medicines can provide best and effective treatment options for countering autoimmune diseases among the people.

According to Dr Mukesh Sharda, founder of Dr Sharda Ayurveda, compared to allopathic treatment which works only to suppress the cause of the disease, ayurvedic treatment is done by first discovering the root cause of autoimmune disease and treatment then progresses accordingly.  “Ayurveda follows a natural, holistic and systematic approach for treatment. When having an autoimmune disorder the body system losses the ability to recognize or distinguish between healthy tissue and potentially destructive antigens.

The health expert explained that the consequences of autoimmune diseases include the destruction of healthy body tissues and abnormal growth of the organs. Some of the common autoimmune diseases are rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease, type 1 diabetes and celiac disease.

To avoid people from getting infected or contracted with autoimmune diseases, the expert has suggested some o the tips which can provided the best and most effective results. These include avoiding of fermented food, because having fermented food in the diet it leads accumulation of toxins in the body. Fermented food blocks various channels of the body thus restricting the performance of various activities of the body organs. Avoiding yogurt, east and bread can help a person free from acquiring from autoimmune diseases.

Second important tip suggested by Dr Sharda is to practice meditation. This practice helps people to recover from neurological conditions such as stress, anxiety and depression, which are known for causing the development of autoimmune diseases. She also suggested adopting things that boosts metabolism. Usually, the metabolism of a person gets disturbed after infected with an autoimmune disease. To boost this, it is advised to use ayurvedic herbs like Neem, Gugguu, Giloy and Brahmi.
