Bangladesh Smuggler Arrested With Phensedyl In North Dinajpur
Goalpokhar, 2 Nov 2017:
A smuggler from Bangladesh was arrested by the BSF soldiers from the Nargaon area, near the India-Bangladesh border, in Goalpokhar, North Dinajpur with 45 bottles of phensedyl in his possession.
The name of the accused has been stated as Suman Ali. He is a 45 years old resident of Haripur in Thakurgaon, Bangladesh.
According to BSF sources, Ali had planned to smuggle the banned cough syrup. After being caught by the BSF soldiers, Ali was turned over to the custody of the Goalpokhar Police. An investigation has commenced in the case.
