Pharmac South 2022 gathers business worth crores of rupees

The south India's high-powered pharmaceutical and neutraceutical trade expo, Pharmac South 2022, that concluded on July 9 at Chennai Trade Center gathered business worth crores of rupees, according to TN IDMA which organized the event along with Orbit Exhibitions India Ltd, Mumbai.

The two days pharmaceutical product and machinery expo attracted thousands of pharmaceutical and neutraceutical marketers and contract manufacturers from all the south Indian states.

Manufacturers of finished formulations, APIs and technologies displayed their products and services in the two days event, and all of them received a lot of business enquiries.

According to feedbacks received by Pharmabiz, both the product exhibitors and the visitors were satisfactory in participating the trade fair. All the exhibitors could build relationships with potential customers from southern states. Visitors mostly came from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Pondicherry. Majority of the visitors were pharmaceutical marketers.

Talking to Pharmabiz, a manufacturer of APIs from Indore said, "Actually our expectations were exceeded. We had several good conversations with valuable customers in our stall. All the visitors were enquiring about our products."

Another exhibitor from Mumbai, who was a contract manufacturer, said this year's Pharmac South provided opportunities for him to meet and discuss in person manufacturers and marketers from the southern part of the country. He said participating the event was worthwhile for his business to develop and to expand network to south India.

The second day of the exhibition witnessed a fully crowded atmosphere from morning to evening. In the conference hall IDMA had organized motivational lectures to encourage the small scale entrepreneurs in the south for promoting their business. CEOs of two pharmaceutical companies delivered talks on their success stories.
