MedLern HeartCode complete training is today helping vulnerable population survive sudden cardiac arrests which take a heavy toll on lives in India.

With an easy-to-use interface, MedLern’s platform is specifically designed for hospitals in India to standardize and improve training for their healthcare workforce. This platform is helping hospitals streamline and measure training implementation and hiring outcomes through training impact evaluation and nursing recruitment assessments.

“Delay in receiving high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) dramatically reduces the survival chances. Scaling up training for India’s 6 million healthcare workers alone will require tens of thousands of additional qualified instructors. To include police and fire personnel, first responders and community members in this initiative will be almost impossible in a meaningful timeframe,” informed Deepak Sharma, co-founder and CEO of MedLern.

HeartCode completely uses American Heart Association’s (AHA) latest research on the most effective resuscitation methods and a state-of-the-art technology stack with advanced sensors, IOT and analytics algorithms on MedLern’s learning platform. The technology-intensive approach can reliably train medical staff and ordinary citizens in a couple of hours using multimodal feedback and personalized learning algorithms.

The programme includes self-paced eLearning in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and self-directed hands-on skill training with the RQI-P GO Simulation Station.

Instructorless programmes use a complete stack of modern technology innovations – these include sophisticated AI algorithms, IOT sensors and real-time analytics to ensure effective learning of not just theoretical knowledge but also proficiency in hands-on skills while performing a medical procedure.

There is a rapid rise in the adoption of instructorless training technology as it adapts to the learning path and the proficiency of the individual learner rather than treating all learners the same. In the skills session too, the feedback to the learner is multi-sensory, precise and immediate so the learner can immediately respond with a modified approach and gain confidence in their skills.

(British Medical Journal publishing group) to provide via its association, evidence-based CPD (Continuing Professional Development) courses to help nurses stay updated with the evolving best practices, latest developments and training requirements besides empowering them to develop their skillsets.  It has also teamed up with Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), USA to provide the association’s Trauma Nursing Core Course online in India to help support the country’s growing need for skilled trauma nurses.

MedLern has collaborated with echelon, a division of AdventHealth University (AHU) and AdventHealth US, to bring evidence-based eLearning modules on various aspects of critical care practice accredited by the ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center), US.
