NPPA Revises Retail Prices Of 24 Formulations

Mumbai, 26 Dec 2018: The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has fixed retail prices of 24 formulations under Drugs Prices Control Order (DPCO) 2013 in related notification dated 21 December, 2018. 

Names of the scheduled formulations include  Telmisartan + Amlodipine +Hydrochlorthaiazide Tablets (Telmiride – AMH), Telmisartan + Metoprolol Tablet (Telmiride –MT 25), Telmisartan + Metoprolol Tablet (Telmiride –MT 50), Omeprazole + Domperidone Capsule (OZSON -D), (Diltra Tablets)Lamivudine +Tenofovir + Dolugetravir Tablets, Metformin + Pioglitazone Tablet, Clinidipine +Metoprolol Tablet, Rosuvastatin +Aspirin +Clopidogrel Capsule, Glimepiride +Pioglitazone Tablet, Diclofenac +Serratiopeotidase Tablets (Diclotal S), Amoxycillin + Clavulanic Acid Suspension, Paracetamol +Phenylephrine +Caffeine +Diphenhydramine Tablet (NEMO-KOLD-NF), Daclatasvir + Sofosbuvir Tablet, Choline Salicylate Solution + Benzalkonium Chloride Solution + Lignocaine Hydrochloride Gel (ULFREE Gel), Bupivacaine + Fentanyl Injection etc.

The manufacturers not complying with the ceiling price and notes specified hereinabove shall be liable to deposit the overcharged amount along with interest thereon under the provisions of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013 read with Essential Commodities Act, 1955. Consequent to the issue of ceiling prices of such formulations as specified in column (2) of the above table in this notification, the price order(s) fixing ceiling or retail price, if any, issued prior to the above said date of notification, stand(s) superseded, the NPPA in its notification said.
