Monsoon and You!

Monsoon season is nothing short of a blessing in disguise, as it makes the environment cool, providing much needed relief from the scorching heat. Again, even with the cool showers, there are certain health risks that your body may get prone to; such as infection, allergies or indigestion. One must take possible precautions to keep illness at bay. Allergies get worse after showers, which is quite normal. Hence, people with asthma need to be more vigilant during this season of the year because allergens, such as pollens, molds, fungi, and dust act as major illness factors, which can worsen the attack of asthma. It's not just allergies; many people suffer from conjunctivitis during monsoon while others tussle against rashes and itching, mostly, resulting from moist conditions, wet clothes, and other such factors that contribute towards the spread of infections.
