Price Of Diabetes Drug Vildagliptin To Halve Soon As Cheap Versions To Hit Market

MUMBAI, 10 DEC 2019: There is some good news for the over 72 million diabetics in India, with a cheaper version of a blockbuster drug hitting the market on December 10. The domestic pharmaceutical market is abuzz with news of over 15-20 companies launching generic versions of the widelyprescribed anti-diabetic drug Vildagliptin, with its price expected to crash by half.

12 Lakh Tablets Of Tramadol Seized In Amritsar CHANDIGARH, 22 DEC 2019 : In a bid to keep tab on the illegal sale and purchase of habit forming drugs, the FDA (Food and Drugs administration) was conducting the regular checking of wholesale and retail sale drugs licensees under which FDA team of Amritsar had seized the approximately 12 lakh tablets of Tramadol, having MRP value of approximately Rs 85 lakh under the provisions of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.
