Researchers working at IBM's labs have developed a new kind of synthetic molecule that targets superbugs without some of the worst side effects of conventional antibiotics. New Delhi, 15th March, 2018: On the occasion of World Consumer Rights Day 2018 Andhra Pradesh was declared First as a Consumer Friendly State followed by Goa. Dr Jitendra Singh Hon’ble Minister of State to the PM gave away the awards in the presence of Former Justice of the Supreme Court Dr Arijit Pasayat who was the Chairman of the Jury along with his other members and packed hall of participants from PHDCCI, QCI and Consumer Online Foundation. Gujarat FDCA, Maha FDA Book Vapi-Based Wholesaler For Running Inter-State Spurious Drug Racket Mumbai, 1 March 2018: Gujarat Food and Drug Control Administration (FDCA) and Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have jointly detected an inter-state spurious drug racket. The prime accused of the racket has been booked for contravention of the provisions of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 under Section 18 (c) and Section 27 for illegally stocking and supplying spurious drugs without a license and proper bill. US FDA Announces Availability Of The Guidance, “E18 Genomic Sampling And Management Of Genomic Data” Maryland, 2 March 2018: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the availability of the final guidance for industry entitled “E18 Genomic Sampling and Management of Genomic Data”. The guidance was prepared under the auspices of the International Council for Harmonisation (ICH), formerly the International Conference on Harmonisation. FDA finalized the guidance after carefully reviewing comments received on the draft guidance with the same name published in June 2016.
