Fake Beauty: Beauty cream makes you itchy?

Bangalore :

On a tip off from a Nivea employee, Rs. 3 lakhs worth of counterfeit cosmetics marketed under the Nivea brand name have been seized by the police from shopkeepers in Bangalore. The shopkeepers claim that the products are from China. They come in huge lorries, according to the police. Apart from the issue of copyright violation, the products - perfume, deodorant, shampoo, body lotion, body spray etc., were made of substances that have a toxic effect on the skin, according to the police.
