FDA approves Merck diabetes drug:

Juvisyn, a new drug produced by the Merck, has been approved by the US regulatory body, the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA). Juvisyn acts to both control blood sugar and reduce cholesterol. This two-in-one pill is a combination drug, comprising of (i) the cholesterol reducing medicine Simvastatin and (ii) Januvia, Merck’s diabetes drug, which was cleared for use along with diet and exercise in 2006. More than 20 million Americans have diabetes and shall be benefited by this drug.
