Its time we respect our body and thus, respect God ! Let us make a resolution this year, “I SHALL LOVE MYSELF !” Lets start by saying no to popping pills without a prescription !!

Kerala Court imposes fine on hospital for selling drugs from its pharmacy without licence
CHENNAI: The Judicial First Class Magistrate Court at Nedumangadu in Thriuvananthapuram district imposed a fine of Rs.24,000 on the owner cum doctor of a private hospital at Venjaramoodu for violation of section 18 (c), Rule 65 (17) and Rule 65 (2) (3) of the Drugs & Cosmetics (D&C) Act and Rules.

Mumbai hospitals make beeline for dissolving stents

“Stop misusing antibiotics”

At the pharmacy, a gentleman showed me a text message on his mobile- for 3 tab of Azithromycin 500mg and a strip of Combiflam, and asked me to give it to him. I promptly said that we could not dispense these without the doctor’s prescription. He said he was a local taxi driver, and the medicines were for his client who was at the guest house. I repeated, “sorry we strictly do not give without a prescription”.
