 Kerala DCA busts clandestine supply of medicines from TN; Chennai based company under scanner
Following a tip off from the intelligence wing, the officials of the Kerala drugs control department have busted a racket involving clandestine supply and sale of medicines operated between the border areas of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The investigating officials said some Chennai based marketing companies are behind the illegal trade and one company operating on Domellows Road in the city is under scanner.

Ahmedabad : From November 26, people in Gujarat will get to check whether the drug purchased from a chemist shop is spurious or not by just logging onto the state Food and Drug Control Administration (FDCA) portal, a top official has said. Strengthening its e-governance initiative, the regulator has proposed to upload a new feature on its portal from Monday, enabling the people to verify whether the purchased drug meets the specified standards and is not fake.
