BHOPAL : Homeopathic medicines are being rampantly sold in plastic containers in the State capital which is a gross violation of rules under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act raising serious questions about suitability of medicines for human intake.

MUMBAI : The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) has released a draft version of guidelines on recall and rapid alert system for drugs including biologics and vaccines. NEW DELHI : With a view to speeding up procedure to trace spurious drugs and initiate actions against the guilty, the health ministry has initiated a number of steps like fixing the time-limit for testing the drug samples collected by the drug inspectors and asked the States to follow the deadlines to the maximum extent possible. |
