Like for instance, the State and National Pharma Industry associations should be engaged in a constant dialogue with the government to ease any sort of pharma challenges ---- adopt a zero tolerance-zero defect attitude and prepare itself to tread such a path”.

Frequently Asked Questions Q1. What is Glaucoma?
Answer: Glaucoma is a disease that damages your eye's optic nerve. It usually happens when fluid builds up in the front part of your eye. That extra fluid increases the pressure inside eye, damaging the optic nerve. Glaucoma has been called the "silent thief of sight" because the loss of vision often occurs gradually over a long period of time, and symptoms only occur when the disease is quite advanced. Without proper treatment, glaucoma can lead to blindness. Worldwide, glaucoma is the second-leading cause of blindness after cataracts.

Q2. What is a cataract?
Answer: A cataract is a clouding of the lens in the eye leading to a decrease in vision. It can affect one or both eyes. Symptoms include faded colours, blurry vision, halos around light, trouble with bright lights, and trouble seeing at night. The lens is a clear part of the eye that helps to focus light, or an image, on the retina. The retina is the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye.
In a normal eye, light passes through the transparent lens to the retina. Once it reaches the retina, light is changed into nerve signals that are sent to the brain.
